This quilt is for a friend of mine's first grandchild :) Due date was yesterday so any minute now!
So glad I've finished it on time.
I always struggle to make boy/man's quilt. It's gonna be a boy and I hope this quilt is bay-boy enough quilt.
Quilt Size: 49" x 49"
Fabrics: 5" squares scraps (with 2 1/2" corner triangles)
Block size: 9 1/2" square unfinished
FMQ by me on my 750 QE Bernina
And one big hug on the back!
Waiting for baby's name so I can make the label :)

ReplyDeleteOh, I love, love, love this quilt which is perfect for a little boy. I am in the process of making something similar but I really wish I had seen this first cause I like it so much better!
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me how you put a quilt label on after it's quilted and bound? I have been struggling with that for a long time now, thinking that it would end up coming off because it wasn't quilted in with the quilting. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt! I have the fabric to make one of these........ it's in my "to do" pile. Great job!
