These Sweetpea Pots are made using left over triangles from Bendy Bags.
Really love the patterns and classes from Lazy Girl Designs, so easy and clear to follow :)

Bendy Bags

I finally made the Bendy Bags by Lazy Girl Designs.
Really enjoyed making them. I also bought her new class, Zippered Bags With a Twist: One Zip Way, so I'll be making Sweetpea Pods with leftover triangles form these Bendy Bags.

Classes by Lazy Girls Designs are so awesome. The instructions are so clear to follow and lots of tips and tricks learnt along the way. I highly recommend her classes.

I used iron-on pellon for the solid coloured bags, but for the printed fabric Bendy Bag I used pellon peltex 1sided fusible. The bag sits much butter with peltex :)

Another SewTogether Bag

Another SewTogether Bag is in progress today!

Considering this is my third one, it should be a smooth ride.
But... ooops, I attach the zipper wrong way.
So I'm off to reverse sew the zipper :P

My finished SewTogether Bag

yayyy!!!!
I've done it :))

I bought this pattern a while back but looking at all the zippers on the pattern and felt defeated.
But I finally done it with using The Quilt Barn's SewTogether Bag Sew-A-Long.

Really love it and I will be making many more :))

Making little things

These cute little chicken are made using 4" finished log-cabin blocks.

Pattern for these fabric baskets is here.

I used this tutorial to put tabs on the zippers.

The zippers used for these pouches are 10" long.
I use 60' ruler to cut triangles from jelly-roll strips.

The pattern is called Vistigial by Hedgehog Fibers. So easy to follow and super fast to knit.
These are my 3rd pair :))

Washcloth/Dishcloth/Burbcloth

I just wanted to use these lovely Avalon range by Fig Tree for something, little things as prints are small and dainty. So I went to get some cotton chenille toweling fabric and made dishcloths/washcloths for Kris Kingle pressies.

They measure 8" x 8"

I did a bit of FMQ on this one, not quite sure if I liked it so leaving the other ones as they are.

Have a lovely weekend, have fun stitch/quilt/knit :)

Finished Mug-Bag

Mug-Bag

This is my my mug-bag which I take to my quilting groups. It looks very sad and worn! Long over due to update!!

Since I can't continue cut/sew with  Happy Go Lucky star quilt, I thought I make myself a new mug-bag with Happy Go Lucky scraps (left over 1 1/2" from small sashing stars)

I love this little stitchery. He is sooo cute.

It has a pocket for tea/coffee bag.

These Matilda's Own circles come in handy. 3 1/2" circle is perfect to cut out base pieces.

And my Christmas canister is handy to place and pin the base on to gathered bottom of bag :)

After stitching the base on to the bag, I just need some strings and a couple of beads to finish it off. Tomorrow I'll be off to my quilting group all prettied up with my new Mug-Bag :)

Happy stitch/quilt/knit :)
