Bunny Baby Quilt

A few finises from last couple of weeks.

This Bunny quilt is done and gifted to my girls' music teacher for his new born baby girl.

45" x 45"

Background is very pale pink, bunny fabrics are form Bright Sun by Sherri & Chelsi.

Love all the fabrics from Bright Sun. Pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman.

This HST scrappy baby quilt is for a friend (grand-ma for the first time) of mine's daughter whose baby is due first week in August!

Sweetpea Pods

I made these Bendy Bags a couple of weeks ago.

Stars baby quilt

I love the stars and bought this pattern as a kit, but batiks are a bit too bright for a baby quilt.

This quilt is going to one of my kids' pregnant teacher. 

Westword Journey #1 is nearly done, just have to hand sew the binding.

Fabrics are from my stash. I fmq stippling all over.

These rabbits are the cutest! but the pictures don't do any justice.

I'm running out to find backing today to finish it. Another one for my kids' teacher. The baby is already here, she was born a couple of weeks ago, so I'm running a bit late.

Bendy Bags

I finally made the Bendy Bags by Lazy Girl Designs.

Really enjoyed making them. I also bought her new class, Zippered Bags With a Twist: One Zip Way, so I'll be making Sweetpea Pods with leftover triangles form these Bendy Bags.

Classes by Lazy Girls Designs are so awesome. The instructions are so clear to follow and lots of tips and tricks learnt along the way. I highly recommend her classes. 

I used iron-on pellon for the solid coloured bags, but for the printed fabric Bendy Bag I used pellon peltex 1sided fusible. The bag sits much butter with peltex :)
