My First Free Motion Machine Quilting Project
I have been practicing free-motion quilting on my Bernina 750QE for a couple of weeks and really enjoying it. I pulled out this kitty-cats quilt top I put together a few years ago and sandwiched it to practice. Very pleased with the outcome, though I need lots and loooots of practice :)

Vintage Inspired Stitcheries
Started some stitcheries a few days ago, they are fun and therapeutic. I love picking out colours even though I'm not good with putting colours together :P
I use quilters' cotton, cut up 5 1/2" squares. Fold the squares in half both ways then trace the designs on a light-box using ArtLine pen fine tip (0.4). It does wash off! I use iron on cotton light-weight on the back of stitchery so you won't see the running of the thread from front. Using two strands of DMC stranded cotton and embroidery needle size 8, I use some back-stitch and stem-stitch for these stitcheries.
When finish stitching them trim it down to 5" squares. To cut the borders: two strips of 2 1/2" x 5" (for sides) and two strips of 2 1/2" x 9" (for top & bottom).
I did a bit of stippling on the borders.
There are more stitcheries to come :)

Grey Matters
A friend of mine's (Gillian's) workmate has requested to make her a grey quilt. She has supplied a cushion which of the colours she would like in her quilt. I picked up some grey, cream and splash of pale blue fabrics from local fabric shop.
I'm using a pattern called Coffee, Cream and Roses from Patchwork with Julie Wallace Book 1. I have made a few quilts out of this book and I totally love it. The book is found at her website, here.
This is what I have done so far. Grey is not my colour as I love florals ( like Robyn Pandolph's), civil war fabrics or most Moda fabrics but I'm actually really enjoying it. It looks very modern :)

Monica's placemats
Monica had requested she needed some 20 all placemats a few months ago. And I had been looking for some nice designs (which I would enjoy making) for a while and I finally stumbled upon FairyFace Designs blog and voila!!! Thank you Sarah.
I made two sets of eight.
You can find above pattern here.
And these placemats pattern here.
Aristida Shawl
I have started a quick-knit project which I bought (Digital Download pattern) at Interweave Store :)
I'm using two skeins of Katia Darling and knitting needle 3.75mm. This yarn is so lovely to knit.
Georgia's Large Wrap
I have finished the Large Wrap I started last month and given it to my friend Georgia last weekend.
She loves it :)
