HST Scrappy Quilt

 Love of HSTs and scrappyness (not sure it's a word!) here comes another scrappy quilt. I find stitching-in-ditch a bit too tense so I quilted 1/4' from both sides of stitching line. It does stands out and looks much better. I think! This quilt measures 74" x 74".

WIP Op shop vintage linen quilt II

Cutting up all of  leftovers from my first op shop quilt into 2 1/2" strips to start up op shop quilt number II. To keep it simple I'm piecing them to make traditional nine patch and alternating blogs are old doilies and vintage squares.

I like the look of nine patch blocks :)

This is how far I have gotten so far. I'm thinking 60" x 60" finish quilt size so still have a bit to go. 

Scrappy quilts are my favorites!!

Now that the Grey quilt is ready to go its new home. I made a cute thank you card with a piece of fabric that was use in the quilt :)

The Grey Quilt

I have finally finished my very first commissioned quilt. I was worried if I would be able to pull it off but overall I think I did pretty good :)

Stitched in the ditch in the middle. Borders are stippled. I had fun stippling the borders.

I like how it looks at the back too :)
